I still remember it was 2013 or something, I visited my friend’s place for a short break. She was pursuing MBBS in the same institute as my now husband. They were close friends. She is the one who told me to connect with one of her friends who is really shy and introvert. In the end, with little hesitation in the beginning I finally agreed to Talk with him. Meanwhile, on the other side, my friend and their group challenged him to call me. They were pretty sure he will not be able to call me. It’s the unexpected call from that unexpected person that changes our life. He called me but being so shy he hardly says anything, it’s me who talked the whole time like a chatterbox and he was listening and laughing. Its the beginning of our friendship. We talked a few times on the phone but never meet in person. With time we both got busy and lost contact. In between I got placed in one of the IT companies in graduation last year. I got busy with my company training, and once it was completed I visited my maternal Grandmother’s house. while playing truth and dare, they dare me to message a guy that I love him. I agreed and message him that “I love you” . I was sure like every other thing he will laugh and will not take it any seriously and later I will explain him. But to my surprise He replied “You don’t know about, I always love you”. I panicked as it was unexpected for me and I switched off the phone. The next day he called me and I tried explaining the whole situation. To the contrary he asked me now you know so give me the answer- do you? I asked for some time to think, with lots of thinking finally My chose to go with what my heart is saying. And I said YES. From 2015 from being his girlfriend to his wife when completed years of happiness, fights, surprises, and sorrow together. Being there through thick and thin.
I will share my most romantic moment. He didn’t say I love you even though we started our relationship. so one day I asked him you never say me I love you ever Why?? Upon my question and he didn’t tell me I love you in return instead to my surprise he planned a surprise for me. He came to my place on 29th Feb 2016 (as it comes once in a 4 year). We went to a restaurant where he decorated one table for us. I was so happy seeing all the decorations. But the actual surprise is when in each interval the waiter comes and give me a gift and I the end he gifted me a chocolate where its written “I Love You”. I was such a nice gesture from him which makes me love him a little more. In 7 years, we were always in a long-distance relationship because of my work and his MBBS study. But I never felt less loved. We fight a lot and I love how much he can tolerate my tantrums. And even after marriage we are tolerating each other a little more but the irony is we don’t hate it, I am pretty sure the Journey of marriage will be the same filled with love, understanding, fights, and supporting each other. He is my serendipity, I was neither looking for him nor any relationship. But I find him unexpectedly and I am really lucky that I met you.
